At the dinner given by United States President Donald Trump, along with his wife, Melania Trump, in New York on the occasion of the high-level week of the 80th Summit of the United Nations General Assembly, Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsos, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, attended.
The presence of the Mitsotakis couple at the official dinner is part of the program of multilateral contacts by the Greek delegation in New York, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
It is recalled that Mr Mitsotakis and Trump are already acquainted with the previous term of the US president, who had coincided with Mr Mitsotakis’ first year in the prime minister. They had even met at the White House in the early 2020s. The scenario of a new two meeting at the White House next time is on the table, though the details have not yet been finalized.
