Mr Mitsotakis noted that the expansion to Kalamaria with five new stations will be completed within the first half of 2026, speaking of “another step that will radically change the daily lives of thousands of citizens”.
In closing, the prime minister noted that every bona fide citizen can find that what has been presented “have never happened in the city in recent decades”. He reiterated that the government’s goal is to implement the commitments and maintain “living expectations for the future”.
The prime minister also referred to his meeting with the rectors. “Thessaloniki can become a metropolis for education and culture”Mr Mitsotakis said, among other things.
Earlier today, the prime minister met with MPs of the First and Second Thessaloniki as well as MPs of New Democracy.
