The prime minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met on the sidelines of his general meeting UN to New York with the transitional president of Syria Ahmed al -Saraa.
During the meeting, the prime minister underlined the importance of an inclusive political process that would protect the rights of all minorities and made particular reference to the need to protect Christian populations, as well as the need to respect international law.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis emphasized Greece’s readiness to support Syria’s rebuilding.
