The prime minister addressed the inauguration of the Ministry of Health’s booth at the TIF Kyriakos Mitsotakiswhich stressed that the upgrading of the NHS was its central political commitment in 2023 and in two years a system of health and better infrastructure will be delivered to the citizens’ crisis. At the same time, he thanked Health Minister Adoni Georgiadis for the work being done.
In particular, the Prime Minister said: “I am very pleased to be with you here today, at the inauguration of the Ministry of Health booth. It has really been a great job throughout the staff at all levels, which I think is presented in detail in this big booth.
I would like to reiterate that the National Health System belongs to all Greeks and all Greeks and has been my central political commitment in 2023, that in four years since then, in two years from now, we will deliver to the crisis of the Greek people a new national health system, with much better infrastructure It comes in for good in our lives through the Myealth app, with more doctors, more nurses, more medical staff in our hospitals.
A big thank you to the employees and employees of the National Health System for what they do 365 days a year.
And in Thessaloniki, I saw this morning on television on Mario (ed. Themistocles) at the site of the most beautiful, most modern pediatric hospital in all of Europe, which will be delivered in the early 2027.
And with a great cut to the prevention services that provides the Greek state centrally. What is happening is really great: We are going through the treatment of the disease in its prevention, through preventive examinations, which have been recognized by the World Health Organization as innovative global level.
So every time you get a small message on your mobile phones, don’t overlook it, because these messages and exams you can make save lives.
I stop here, return to Adonis Georgiadis to tell you the rest. Warmest congratulations on the job done by the Ministry of Health.
And one last thing: all bona fide citizens and primarily the patients themselves, who for the first time have the opportunity to evaluate the services of the National Health System and to indicate us how to become better, they recognize that here is a great effort. We are not yet where we want to be, but we also have a goal and a plan and determination to get to where we should be.
Let us aside the moan and misery, to recognize the progress that has been made and to credit to this government that it is consistent in its commitments: Public Health and the National Health System, the central pillar of our government policy.
Thank you.
