The Prime Minister’s post to reduce unemployment in our country
Posting on social networks, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis refers to the decline in unemployment, which fell to 8.3% from 10.8% last year.
“Did you know that unemployment in our country is now smaller than Sweden, Finland, and Spain? In April we had very good news. Unemployment fell to 8.3% this year from 10.8% in the same month last year. It is the lowest unemployment of the last 17 years, ”the prime minister said.
He points out that unemployment in young people fell to 20.4% from 24%. “Again it is high but we have a significant reduction. While women fell to 10.8% from 13.6% that was a year ago, ”he said.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis emphasizes that this reduction was not alone. “It was done with less taxes and mainly more investments, which create many new jobs. But also with a state that does not stand in the way of entrepreneurship. Unemployment is decreasing. The country is moving forward. Continue! ” notes.
