Citizens will soon feel the successful treatment of tax evasion, the prime minister said, among other things. Mr Mitsotakis also said that “we will be judged in 2.5 years of increasing nominal wages and tax cuts”.

He also referred to Moody’s upgrading the Greek economy, noting that it is a national success that certifies the country’s progress in a complex environment with geopolitical challenges. At the same time, the prime minister stressed that there are the key priorities, which are nothing more than a reduction in unemployment, the creation of more and better -paid jobs, the change in the productive model and, of course, the further reduction in taxes.

It also paid particular attention to the continuation of the policy that, to date, brings rapid use of resources by the recovery fund.

Finally, for his part, the Minister of National Economy and Finance, Kyriakos Pierrakakis, stressed that there are international challenges and national goals, such as the fight against tax evasion using advanced technological tools. He stressed that they know how to achieve it, through the implementation of new media and a dense legislative project planned and will continue at the same pace. “The bar has been high and we will build on what has been created,” he said.
