Minerals with Ukraine minerals must be compatible with European law, German Foreign Burbock said

Any new agreement on the minerals with Ukraine It should be in line with European law, according to German Foreign Minister Analena Berbock during its visit today (1.4.2025) to Kiev.

Asked about the possible agreement on minerals between Ukraine and the United States, the German Foreign Minister said that Europe has already entered into an agreement with Ukraine and that every new agreement should be compatible with European Union law.

“After all, this is our European continent … We are of course in dialogue with all stakeholders accordingly,” said the outgoing German Foreign Minister.
