The PAE Panathinaikos announced the start of its collaboration with Miguel Angel Corona, who is the new technical director of the team.
The 44-year-old Spaniard was previously working at Valencia, with the former sporting director of the Spanish team coming to Panathinaikos on the recommendation of Rafa Benitez.
Corona and Kotsolis will run the team’s competitive and transfer planning from now on, with the clover now strengthening in all areas, wanting to return to the path of success.

Mr. Corona was born in Talavera de la Reina, Spain on February 12, 1981. He started his football career in the academies of Real Madrid and continued in Zaragoza, Poli Ejido, Albacete, Almeria, while he also played in Australia. During his football career he studied and obtained a law degree in Spain.
Immediately after hanging up his football boots in the summer of 2017, Mr Corona took on the role of sporting director at Almeria. In January 2020, he was hired by Valencia as head of the scouting department and in the years that followed he was promoted to technical director and later to sporting director of the Bats, a position he held until recently.
