Noah Kemeseng Sonko Sundberg, as his full name is, was born on June 6, 1996 in Naka, Sweden.
Starting as a child from Enskede IK, Sundberg joined the Aik Academy at the age of 14. Passing through all ages, he arrived at Aik’s first team with his adulthood and recorded 40 appearances (3 goals, 1 assists in all competitions) until March 2016.
The 20 -year -old central defender was then given for two consecutive years as a loan to GIF Sundsvall (52 appearances, 4 goals, 3 assists). In the winter of 2018, he was released by Aik and signed to another Allsvenskan team, Östersunds FK.
There he took on a leading role, and after four “full” season (107 appearances, 5 goals, 2 assists) in the league, Swedish Cup and Europe, he decided to leave Sweden for the first time in January 2022 on behalf of Levski Sofia.
In his first year in Bulgaria he celebrated the cup win and in his second season he was one of Levski’s main “pillars” (53 appearances, 1 goals, 2 assists).
His excellent appearances did not go unnoticed by Ludogorets champion, who chose him for the center of defense in the summer of 2023.
During the 2023-’24 season he celebrated the win of the Super Cup and the Bulgarian Championship and was a key factor in the European Ludogorets (35 appearances, 2 goals, 2 assists).
The past year meant another new experience for Sundberg, as it was borrowed in Turkey on behalf of Sivasspor. It was another “full” season for the 29 -year -old central defender (27 appearances, 2 goals, 1 assist).
As a teenager, he went through all the development sections of the National Swedish, but at the men’s level he has chosen to represent the Gambia representative band from 2020 (16 entries).
