Vehicle traffic is normally carried out in the area of Markopoulosas the traffic arrangements put into place due to the fire that occurred near the Church of Our Lady of Varaba.
According to the Fire Brigade, the fire was burning in a stream while no houses were threatened. To extinguish it, 38 firefighters were mobilized with a section of the 1st EME, 10 vehicles, 1 helicopter and volunteers.
