The former co -owner of Milwaukee BucksMark Lasri, is confronted with a reward of $ 100 million, filed by a former worker, accusing him of years of sexual harassment and a slanderous campaign against her.
Gina Stram, a lawyer and a senior executive, filed lawsuit to the New York Supreme Court. In addition to the former co -owner of the Milwaukee Bucks, Mark Lasri, the Avenue Capital Group – whose billion is also a co -founder and CEO – as well as his co -founder and sister, Sonia Gardner, are also accused.
According to the lawsuit, “Mark Lasri took advantage of his position at Avenue Capital to manipulate, harass and avenge Ms Stram after she rejected his proposals and denounced inappropriate behavior.”
The complaint describes “an ongoing tactic of care and predatory behavior, in which Lasri used his power, personal confessions and emotional pressure to erode professional boundaries and cultivate dependent relationships.” Stram accuses Lasri of sexual harassment, sexual assault, defamation, vengeful behavior, a violation of duty of trust and fraud.
It is recalled that last October, Lasri, Avenue Capital and Gardner had filed a lawsuit against Stram, claiming that she attempted to blackmail them for $ 50 million. Stram has denied the charges.
The 65 -year -old Lasri was a member of the Bucks’ ownership from 2014 to 2023. Earlier this week, Sportico reported that he and the legend of US Football, Michael Strahan, are considering the acquisition of a shareholder.
