Born on October 7, 1967, Maria Korina Matsado Parisa is a political and industrial engineer from Venezuela. Today it is a leading form of opposition in the country.
He was an elected member of the Venezuelan National Assembly from 2011 to 2014. This year was included in the magazine list Time with the 100 most influential faces in the world.
Her political career began in 2002, when she founded Súmate, an election monitoring body, along with Alejandro Plaz. Today, she is a national coordinator of the political party Vente Venezuela. In 2018, she was one of the 100 women of the year from the BBC.
Matsado is considered one of the most prominent Venezuelan opposition personalities, and Nicolas Maduro’s government has banned her from leaving the country.

In 2012 he claimed the opposition for the presidential election, but was defeated in the qualifiers by Enrique Caprillas.
