Yesterday (08.10.2025) Poland, who claims to be the disappeared Madeleine McCan, broke out against Madeleine’s mother. “Why are you doing this to me?” shouted at Kate McCan.
In the trial he testified via video link and Madeleine’s younger sister, 20 -year -old Amelie.
He described how she received messages on Facebook from Vadadel, who claimed to be Madeleine. As she said, she did not inform her parents about the messages, as she did not want to stress and upset them.
“I felt it wasn’t right to get involved. I usually don’t answer people I don’t know to protect myself ‘, Amelie said in court.
Kate McCan, Madlin’s mother, emotionally charged, described the influence of Vandelt’s messages and visits to family life. She said that all she wants 18 years after her daughter’s disappearance was to return Madeleine and shout her “mom”.
The categories facing Vadadelt
According to the indictment, Vandelt appeared at the McCan family home demanding DNA test to prove that she was Madelin, participated in alert in Madelin’s memory and sent letters full of emotional charge, in which she signed as “Madlin”.
OR 61 -year -old Karen Sperg, accused of Vaddelt’s accompliceallegedly caused serious disruption and concern to the family from June 2022 to February 2025.
Both deny the categories.
For his part, Madelin’s father, Jerry McCan, said Vandelt’s constant efforts to communicate with the family caused anger and frustration. He stressed that communication with twins, Sean and Ameli, Madelin’s younger brothers, negatively affected their daily lives.
“We knew it is not our daughter,” he said characteristically, stressing that false allegations distract from Madelin’s disappearance.
During the deposition, Vadadelt broke out in tears, screamed and removed from the dock, while the judge ordered the termination of the trial.
Madeleine’s mom said that Vaddelt’s presence at an annual memorial service in their village was a “difficult experience” as she “exerted a great pressure on the family”.
