The French President Emmanuel Macron hosts him Volodimir Zelenski at the Champs Elysians in Paris, to discuss security guarantees for Ukraine in view of the “Evinitant Coalition” summit.
Emmanuel Macron welcomed the Ukrainian President in Paris on Wednesday night (26.03.2025). During his meeting with Volodimir Zelenski, the French president is also expected to confirm his country’s commitment to increase military and financial aid to Ukraine, according to Le Monde.
The two heads of state will dine together this afternoon to prepare for the meeting.
Emmanuel Macron revealed tomorrow’s program: “We will conclude our work on short -term support for the Ukrainian army, to defend a sustainable and durable Ukrainian army to prevent Russian invasions, and then for security guarantees.”
The Paris Summit on March 27 will gather Germany, Poland, the United Kingdom and other members of the Coalition who have committed to supporting Ukraine’s post -war security.

The initiative was first taken by British Prime Minister Kir Starmer during a summit on March 2 in London, where Europeans and other leaders discussed support for Kiev.
Over 30 countries have expressed the willingness to contribute to the peacekeeping power of the coalition, Starmer’s spokesman said on March 17, confirming that the initiative has entered a “operational phase”.
