French President Emmanuel Macron sends three fighter aircraft Rafale to Poland for the protection of its life, but also in Eastern Europe in general.
Specifically, three French fighter aircraft Rafale “will help protect the airspace” in Poland as well as Eastern Europe along with NATO forces, after “invasion of Russian drones in Poland,” French President Emmanuel Macron said today.
The French president clarified that he had pledged Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk yesterday, adding that he had also spoken to British Prime Minister Kir Starmer and NATO Secretary -General Mark Rutte.
“We will not succumb to the growing attempts of bullying from Russia,” he assured.
Following the Russian drone incursions into Poland, I have decided to deploy three Rafale fighter jets to contribute to the protection of Polish airspace and of NATO’s Eastern Flank together with our Allies.

Russia calls on Poland to review the decision to close its borders with Belarus
Russia today called on Poland to review the decision to close its borders with Belarus, a measure announced by Warsaw on Tuesday in view of the common Russian-White-Race military exercises scheduled to take place from 12 to 16.
“We call on Warsaw to consider the consequences of such counterproductive measures and to revise its decision as soon as possible,” said Maria Zaharova, a spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry.
