“At the initiative of the President of the Republic, a telephone call was organized with President Trump, President Sisi, the King of Jordania and the President of the Republic to discuss the situation in Gaza,” the French presidency said.
Tomorrow Tuesday Macron is going to visit the warehouses where the humanitarian aid for Gaza is kept. He will also go to a hospital where injured Palestinians are hospitalized.
Earlier, in the joint announcement issued by Presidents Macron and Sisi and King Abdallah emphasized that the Palestinian Authority would have to take over the government after the war, while calling for a ceasefire.
“Governance and maintenance of order and security in Gaza, as well as in all Palestinian territories (must) exclusively undertaken by the reinforced Palestinian authority, with strong support” of the countries of the region and the international community, said in this joint announcement.
