THE Panathinaikos took the victory 99-92 against Maccabi Tel Aviv For the 31st EuroLeague match, with the Greens having a great night with Huanzo Erngomet, Kentrik Nan and Dino Mitoglou.

Williams made a three-point lead in 19-24 and the first quarter ended with a score of 19-24 for the “Greens” who showed control.
However, in the second quarter the situation was not the same. The Dibartolomeo scored a three-point lead to reduce (22-24), and shortly thereafter put another three-point lead (25-25). Radolph with shots and Cohen with a three-pointer put Maccabi ahead with a score of 30-27. Huanzo may have reduced to 30-29, but Williams and Blatt made it 34-29 for the home side. In the second half, Panathinaikos showed a short-circuit, with the excellent Cohen game and Williams making it 55-49. A Radolf foul and a Blatt three-point goal gave Maccabi 10 points (61-51). Despite the efforts of Gabriel and Nan (61-55), Maccabi found solutions and kept the score. The lost rebounds hurt Panathinaikos, watching Maccabi escape 10 (75-65), with the third quarter closing 78-67.
But everything changed in the fourth and last quarter. And this is because Huanzo Erngomet took action, with Central Nan following! The two players with important baskets reduced the difference, with Mitoglou putting his own stone for Brown to come to Panathinaikos (82-83). Maccabi responded to Yokubaitis who put an end to the series of the Greens (84-85), while Sorkin tied up 86-86. Yokubaitis and Radolf raised Maccabi to +4 (90-86), but Mitoglou gave a three-point solution for 90-89! Nan then put Panathinaikos again (90-92) and Brown raised the difference to four (90-94). Afterwards, Huanzso scored in a decisive three-point (92-97), with Ataman’s players with a huge psychology to “lock” the victory in the last attacks and winning the pink sheet of 99-92!
