OR LAMDA Development SA informs that on August 28, he accepted a binding bid by the ION Group, a Financial Services Technology Company, for the development of an International Research & Innovation Center within the Hellenic project, where about 2,000 professionals from 44 countries will be housed.
The Research and Innovation Center, which will be developed by the ION Group in two distinct areas of Elliniko and will cover a total maximum permissible construction of approximately 250mm. TM, will include at least 50mm. sq.m. Office spaces, 1,000 seats designed for international events, and up to 200mm. sq.m. Residential developments for housing the professionals of the ION Group.
The total price for the transaction to be received by Lamda is € 450m. The total size of the ION Group’s investment associated with the Research & Innovation Center is estimated to exceed € 1.5 billion during its development, which is projected to be completed by 2030.
In addition, the ION Group will acquire the same shares, representing 2% in the company’s share capital. Which reflects the confidence of the ION Group in Hellenic.
This strategic collaboration marks the start of the creation of the Hellenic Business Center, which is a key part of the Masterplan’s general development plan, while at the same time placing The Ellinikon as a European hub of artificial intelligence and digital transformation.
