The 34 -year -old who attacked and beat an employee was arrested on Friday afternoon (13.06.2025) garbage truck of the Municipality of Athens in the area of Hive last Saturday June 7th.
The 34 -year -old who attacked the garbage truck in KypseliAccompanied by his lawyer, he was handed over, shortly after 12 noon, to the St. Panteleimon Security Department but was not arrested as the autopsy was over.
After a few hours, however, a warrant was issued against him on charges of severely intended bodily harm on which he was arrested.
As for the case of the case, the incident occurred late Saturday night on Niovis Street in Kypseli, where garbage collection officials were carrying out their shift.
During the process of collecting a bin from the trash can, one of the two employees asked for a car that had “stuck” behind him to leave a few meters away because they could not pull the bucket.
Then the 34 -year -old got off the vehicle and, along with two other men, attacked the 49 -year -old with buns and kicks.
