Kotjamanidis (Entersoftone): Investments in artificial intelligence and emphasis on organic growth

Organic growth and its enhancement artificial intelligence are at the center of the strategy of Entersoftone, the new company created by the merger of two leading groups in business software, Entersoft and SoftOne, as stated yesterday (12.11.2025) in a press conference by the head Antonis Kotzamanidis.

The new scheme, with shareholders Olympia Group and Inker Capital, aims to further strengthen its presence in the market and dynamically enter the era of artificial intelligence, and it seems to be moving at a strong pace.

According to Mr. Kotzamanidis, Entersoftone, which was created about a year ago, will this year be among the five most profitable companies in the business software sector, which in Greece is estimated to exceed 600 million euros.

More specifically, the company is expected to record a 16% increase in consolidated revenue and a 33% increase in consolidated EBITDA, with initial estimates calling for a turnover of between 137 and 140 million euros and an EBITDA of between 42 and 44 million euros.

Mr. Kotzamanidis emphasized that in the next period the company will mainly focus on organic growthleaving behind the period of continuous acquisitions. “In previous years, acquisitions were the protagonists. From now on, the protagonist is organic growth,” he noted. As he added, acquisitions will continuebut they will be fewer and more targeted, focusing on countries abroad. “We will target companies that strengthen our presence in strategic markets. We do not exclude startups as well, as long as they have complementary products and are in line with our philosophy”, he said characteristically.

Greece remains Entersoftone’s largest market, with a presence in Athens, Thessaloniki, Larissa, Patras and Heraklion in Crete, followed by Romania, Cyprus and Bulgaria. In total, the company has 10 offices (hubs) and over 1,500 employees, while it operates as AADE certified electronic invoicing providerthrough the Invoicing service, which is estimated to manage over 1 billion electronic documents by 2025.

Regarding the expansion abroad, Mr. Kotzamanidis explained that, although there is no specific plan yet, strengthening the presence in the Romanian market is on the table. “In Romania there are twice as many companies as in Greece, but the investments made are half. So there are significant growth opportunities”, he underlined.

At the same time, the company plans investments of 35 million euros in artificial intelligence the next three yearswith the aim of developing new AI products and training businesses in new technologies. Already, the first new AI products are expected to be presented within the first quarter of 2026.

It is worth noting that the company’s clientele currently includes 90,000 businesses, of which 50,000 are already in the Cloud.

Finally, the head of Entersoftone clarified that there is no plan to enter the Stock Exchange or sell the company. “We are a big company, so there are always suggestions like this. However, what we are interested in is the development and partnerships that can take us to the next level”, pointed out Mr. Kotzamanidis.
