Historic night for Kostas Sloukas, as the Panathinaikos captain surpassed Vassilis Spanoulis in the list of players with the most three-pointers in Euroleague history.
In Panathinaikos’ away game against Paris, Kostas Sloukas scored three three-pointers in the first half, reaching 521 in 436 Euroleague games! With this feat, he surpassed Vassilis Spanoulis, who finished his career with 518 three-pointers in 358 games.
The next target for Sluka is Shane Larkin, who has 584 triples in 256 innings, but unlike ‘Kill Bill’, the American continues to compete in the event. It is worth noting that Rudy Fernandez with 594 and Milos Teodosic with 595 accurate three-pointers are also on the relevant list.
It is recalled that Kostas Sloukas counts four Euroleagues (two with Olympiakos, one with Fenerbahce, one with Panathinaikos).
