The new American ambassador arrives in Athens today Kimberly Guilfoyle, by private flightas provided for in the protocol.
The first official obligation of her diplomatic term is scheduled for her Tuesday, November 4when he would submiti her credentials to the President of the Republic, Konstantinos Tassoulas, in a ceremony at the Presidential Palace.
The stigma of diplomacy of the term is expected to be given later in the week at the Transatlantic Forum on energy that is being held in Athens and which will be attended by US Secretary of Energy Chris Wright, US Secretary of the Interior Doug Bergham and 24 European Energy Ministers.
The 6th Conference “Partnership for Transatlantic Energy Cooperation (P-TEC), which is held on November 6 and 7 at Zappeio Megaro, is co-organized by the Ministry of Environment and Energy, the US Department of Energy and the Atlantic Council Global Energy Center, marking the strengthening of Europe-US cooperation for a safe, sustainable and affordable energy transition.
