The measures announced by Minister of Citizen Protection Michalis Chrysochoidis for her gun ownership are in the right direction, commented o Minister of Shipping Vassilis Kikilias speaking to MEGAand emphasized that the law applies to everyone.
“A cross-party consensus is required from the parties of the democratic arc and the self-governing parties, an agreement is required that there will be disarmament in a reasonable time, voluntarily, without sanctions and from a point and then the law comes in the harshest way. There are no innocents, the law must apply everywhere”, he noted and added that he does not agree with Adonis Georgiadis’ opinion regarding gun ownership.
US-Greece cooperation is rising to a new level
Regarding the energy agreements, Mr. Kikilias stated that “US-Greece cooperation rises to another level and through energy we aspire to have energy security in a difficult neighborhood and investments in infrastructure for the next 25 years, which will be of common benefit”.
The aim, as stated by Vassilis Kikilias, is to reduce inflation, energy prices, but also to reduce the prices of commercial products.
“80% to 90% of world trade moves by sea. Whoever controls this, geostrategically, geopolitically and economically controls the planet. Instead of Greece expecting to get energy from others, it is making strong agreements with the largest energy producer, the USA. At the same time, it announces after 40 years that it is restarting drilling south of Crete and the Peloponnese, so it has the possibility to increase its energy reserves”.
Mr. Kikilias also noted that the US ambassador, Kimberly Guilfoyle, has insight into Turkey’s attitude.
