The intention of the Ministry of Maritime and Island Policy to promote new bill The Minister announced for Naval Education in Autumn Vassilis Kikiliaswith the aim of supporting the new generation of seafarers and the overall upgrading of the sector.
As he said in his post, “if you are looking for a job with very good earnings and prospects, Greek shipping is the solution.”
The minister announced that “in the fall we are bringing a new bill on maritime education in the fall”, which, he points out, is aimed at four key axes:
- Improvement of educational structures
- Simplifying procedures
- Reduction of bureaucracy
- Flexible and operating framework of attendance
Mr. Kikilias concluded that “we support the new generation of seafarers from day one at school until the first day on the ship”.
