I feel the need to publicly congratulate the Greek transplant organization. Following the loss of our mother, we decided with my brother to donate her organs. We alerted the EOM, and in a few minutes a spokesman for the organization had come to the hospital.
It was followed by a rapid procedure for medical examinations in collaboration with EOM physicians and doctors to detect the organs suitable for transplantation, thorough medical examinations to analyze the organs and compatibility with potential recipients, and then surgery from the donor, Receives 5 instruments were donated to 5 of our fellow human beings, and the 5 surgeries were – at least first – successful, with anxiety of all of us for the final assimilation of the organs to new organizations.
I had never worked with EOM in practice, and I feel the need to overwhelm the professionalism of his teams, the speed of response, the training of his executives, the attention to the detail and, in particular, the work of life implemented for the benefit of thousands of our fellow humans.
The reason for this post, the thank you letter sent to us by informing the results of the donation – an example of professionalism and empathy, with the charged and at the same time a relief phrase: “With organ donation, the disease is bridged and death.”
