Paris Olympic gold medalist Katie Marchand has been taken to hospital after conflict in the semi-final of the women’s “Keirin” at the UCI Track Cycling Champions League in London, according to the information of the British federation cycling.
Kate Marchand – who won gold in the team sprint in Paris – collided on the last lap with Germany’s Alessa-Katriona Propster, sending them both off the track into the spectators’ seats!
The British athlete, according to British media, suffered a broken arm. The organizers decided to suspend all further matches for the evening following the incident.

“Katie Marchand has been treated by on-site medical staff and has been taken to hospital for further assessment,” British Cycling said in a post on X.
