Mrs. Sakellaropoulou attended the re-opening ceremony of the cathedral representing Greece. The President of the Republic was accompanied by her partner, Pavlos Kotsonis.

Katerina Sakellaropoulou and Pavlos Kotsonis sat behind Prince William, Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg and his wife Maria Theresa, King Philippe of Belgium and his wife Queen Mathilde, as well as Prince Albert of Monaco.
