Lefteris Karchimakis, coordinator of the PASOK program team, launched a fierce attack on the Minister HealthAdoni Georgiades Posting on social media, on the occasion of the minister’s comment on the violent incidents against the Greek mission of “March to Gaza” in Egypt.
Mr Karchimakis accuses Adonis Georgiadis of “marginally not saying that they did well”, implying that the minister is almost welcomed by the attack. In the same post he stresses that this attitude opens dangerous paths, allowing authoritarian regimes to act against Greek citizens on the grounds that there is no government or reaction.
It also raises three questions to Georgiadis about the government’s failure to protect Greek citizens, the international protection provided through the Greek passport and the acceptance of ethnic cleansing in Gaza.
“Does the minister understand the Kerkoporta who opens up with authoritarian regimes to move against Greek scientists, activists, journalists and to say ‘We didn’t know that the government cares'”
OR suspension Karchimaki
The dangerous Mr. Georgiadis. “March to Gaza” and the Greek mission, according to complaints and videos, were attacked. In his post, Mr. Georgiadis does not say that they did well.
The minister’s post arises three key questions:
- When Greek citizens are attacked abroad, is it possible to adhere instead to apologize that the government and the Foreign Ministry have failed to preserve their physical integrity?
- Is an international protection obligation from the Greek passport to New Democracy “to our own children”?
- Does the Minister understand the Kerkoporta, who opens to authoritarian regimes in order to move against Greek scientists, activists, journalists and to say, “Sorry we didn’t know that the government cares.”
- The chief minister says that the movements were not interested in Ukraine, Yezidi and much more. On this basis, it makes a reasonable leap and claims that those who complain about Gaza ethnic cleansing “are not entitled to speak”.
It is enough to find a google to find peace mobilizations in Ukraine, demonstrations and events for the Middle East and against ISIS. But all this is secondary.
The main question is this: the Minister who apparently recognizes himself the right to public intervention, condemn ethnic cleansing in Gaza or continue to rinse blood from the hands of Netanyahu for whom the International Criminal Court is pending?
