Kallithea: Arson of three ELTA vans at dawn

The alarm went off shortly after 1 a.m. on Friday (13.12.2024) at Kallitheaas unknown persons set fire to three of their vans ELTA.

According to ERT, the perpetrators arrived at the scene, doused the three vehicles with flammable liquid and set them on fire. The result was that the ELTA vans were completely destroyed. In fact, a nearby parked vehicle also suffered significant material damage from the fire.

Eight firefighters with 3 vehicles immediately rushed to the scene to put out the fire, before it spread.

The preliminary investigation was undertaken by the State Security, while it is investigating videos from cameras in the area where the movements of the perpetrators may have been recorded before and after the arson.
