Estimation that the government’s narrative of OPEKEPE has collapsed, PASOK spokesman Costas Tsoukalas commented on the latest developments around subsidies alleged to have taken the former New Democracy Community Resources Division. “New Democracy executives are revealed daily to what the prime minister called” center of the track “with many millions of euros in subsidies from OPEKEPE,” he added.
PASOK’s spokesman insisted that ND has not suspended the party status of anyone involvedarguing that “we have been asking for days, if it has deleted any of those persons who seem to be in the formation and operation of the corruption mechanism found by the European Public Prosecutor’s Office, and we get no answer.”
He also referred to a publication that left shadows for the European Prosecutor, Laura Kovesi, saying: “We see as a reaction to tearing attacks on the European Public Prosecutor’s Office. They arrived at the point until MPs adopt vulgar hints against the European Prosecutor. This shows that the New Democracy government is in panic. “
Kostas Tsoukalas reiterated that PASOK would re -expose the proposal to set up a pre -trial committee. “We have said that we will receive every appropriate means in order not to be limited and the ministers not be amazed.”he stressed.
