Jimmy Kimmel: Screenwriters are demonstrating about the “cut” of the famous presenter – “Not in fascism”

On the street they found today (19.09.2025) TV players – cinema screenwriters and television copywriters – to shout at the end of Jimmy Kimmel and to ‘yuch’ Donald Trump who had targeted the popular comedian about his comments about the assassination of Charlie Kerk.

The demonstration is in favor of freedom of speech following Disney’s removal of presenter Talk Show Jimmy Kimmel and Donald Trump’s attempts to punish television faces who are malicious or his murdered ally, the right -wing activist.

ABC, Walt Disney Co’s owned television network, stopped the show “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” This week, after Kimmel referred to Kerk and mocked the US president during his initial monologue on Monday.

Today, in Manhattan, Dozens of copywriters, including some employed in ABC, have marched on the sidewalk outside the skyscraper where Disney offices are housed in order to “protect freedom of speech” in a mobilization organized by their trade union Writers Guild of America.
