Graffiti is entitled “The Final Solution” created by Laika, a well -known street artist from Italy, according to La Repubblica. The work of art shows Adolf Hitler hugging Benjamin Netanyahu and congratulating him on handling war with Hamas in Gaza.
Laika defended her work in a post on social media, saying that the images were intended to caused the attention of the public and the media.
“The Israeli government, with the support of the United States and the European Union (led by Italy and Germany), systematically promotes a campaign to exterminate the Palestinian people,” he wrote. He described Israel’s military operation, “the chariots of Gideon” as a “ethnic cleansing campaign”.
The artist even claimed that the Israeli army has occupied 81% of Gaza, has caused mass hunger and has destroyed much of the territory, leaving tens of thousands of dead, including more than 20,000 children.
“Gaza has long been a huge outdoor prison and now it has almost been completely destroyed. The next phase is the expulsion of survivors, “he said.
“Europe has imposed sanctions on Russia for the invasion of Ukraine, but it remains silent in front of Israeli atrocities. The genocide of the Palestinian people is not only tolerated but also funded, and protests to defend this oppressed and slaughtered nation are suppressed, “he wrote.
Laika called on Jewish communities to condemn Netanyahu, saying: “Anyone who has experienced huge suffering, such as the Holocaust, cannot remain idle and accept the atrocities that are happening in Gaza.”
She also criticized the Italian government, accusing her of being silent on incidents such as the reported deaths of nine children of Dr. Alaa al-Najar in an Israeli air raid. “We haven’t learned anything from the past. The destruction of Gaza will also mark the end of our democracy and the protection of human rights, “he said.
