Shocking are the stories of hostage who returned to the hugs of their loved ones at Israelafter years of detention by Hamas in Gaza.
One of these stories is the Israeli Homer Evyatar David who shocked the world last August, when he appeared in video digging his own grave in Hamas tunnel, was Among the 20 hostages released yesterday and returned to Israel.
The images of that video had shocked the world with 24 -year -old David, exhausted and boned, a symbol of the barbarism of captivity, trying to survive under inhumane conditions.
In shots broadcast by his return, he seems, among other things, to celebrate with his friend Guy Gilboa-Dalal who had been abducted by Hamas. The two were held together in Gaza.
