Earlier, the briefing of Israeli Armed Forces spokesman on operations in Iran, which was on direct television broadcast, was unexpectedly interrupted by the Iranian attack on central Israel.
While answering questions at the Kirya Military Headquarters in Tel Aviv, a loudspeaker was heard that the base was put on “defensive readiness”, a notification which means it was preparing for an attack.
According to Iranian media, 100,000 missiles against Israel were fired during the attack called “severe punishment”.
Reports indicate that there are injured in Tel Alviv. Israeli rescue services reported that seven people were injured in central Israel after Iranian blows with ballistic missiles. Witnesses said that explosions are heard again in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.
The anti -aircraft alarm sirens are sounding all over the country, the army said.

‘The enemy is watching’
The Israeli army calls on the public not to post photos or videos of rocket attacks. “The enemy is watching the videos to improve its aggressive potential,” the army says.
At the same time, head of Iranian diplomacy Abbas Aragzi ruled out any possibility of ‘self -restraint’ against Israel, after the Israeli blows to Iranian territory.
Arakzi “rejects calls for Iran’s restraint after the Israeli attack,” he told British counterpart David Lamia.
The president of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu said the attack on Iran was one of the greatest in history while he urged the Iranian people to rise.
