New Democracy remains the first party, however it seems to be losing ground in four districts, according to the news poll of Interview for Political newspaper. At the same time, citizens appear wary of ELTA, while the return of Alexis Tsipras does not seem to convince the majority.
The regions that “greened”
OR poll of Interview shows that ND “loses” four of the country’s 13 regions, as PASOK is ahead in Crete, Peloponnese, Western Greece and Epirus – regions with a strong agricultural and productive profile. According to the findings, the “greening” of the map is not so much due to the rise of PASOK, as for the reduction of the ND’s electoral power.
Assessment of election result
ND collects 29.2%, PASOK 15%, Hellenic Solution 8.1%, KKE 7.9%, Voice of Reason 6%, Freedom Sailing 5.7%, MeRA25 5.3%, Democracy Movement 5%, SYRIZA 3.7%, Niki 1.6%, New Left 1.4%, while the other parties gather 11.1%.

In terms of voting intention, ND reaches 24%, PASOK 12%, Hellenic Solution 6.7%, KKE 6.5%, Voice of Reason 5.2%, Freedom Movement 4.6%, MeRA25 and the Democracy Movement from 4%, SYRIZA 3%, Niki 1.3%, New Left 1.1% and the other parties 8%. The undecided amount to 19.6%.

Voters’ “second choices”.
To her question poll of Interview for the second party choice, 12.4% answered Voice of Reason, 10.8% PASOK, 9.9% MeRA25, 9.8% Freedom Sailing, 8.5% New Left, 7.8% Hellenic Solution, 6.3% SYRIZA, 6% KKE and only 5.9% ND.

Which politician inspires confidence
To her question poll of Interview “which politician do you trust most to govern the country”Kyriakos Mitsotakis collects 29%, however “Kanenas” is in first place with 32%. They are followed by Nikos Androulakis with 8.9%, Kyriakos Velopoulos with 6.1%, Zoe Konstantopoulou with 5.3%, Dimitris Koutsoubas with 5%, Stefanos Kasselakis with 4.5%, Aphrodite Latinopoulos with 3.2%, Sokratis Famellos with 2.9%, Alexis Haritsis with 1.3% and Dimitris Natsios with 1.1%.

The return of Tsipras and the book “Ithaca”

Only 14% of respondents believe that it becomes a serious and constructive opposition with suggestions. On the contrary, 56% believe that the opposition operates communicatively, for impressions, while 28% consider that it is practiced without substantial alternative proposals. 2% do not answer.
