To enthronement ceremony of the new Pope Leo ID ‘ to Vatican The Minister of Education, Religions and Sport attended, Sofia Zacharaki, as head of the Greek delegation. After completing her ceremony, Mrs Zacharakis had the planned meeting with the Pope to congratulate him.
Ms Zacharakis in her statement particularly referred to the messages of the new Pontiff for love and solidarity with an emphasis on the mental empowerment and inspiration of young people.
The Greek Mission was also involved by the Deputy Foreign Minister, Giannis Loverdos.
