It was well known and became official! OR National Greece Football has its own home, as the signatures and the “George Vardinogiannis” sports center in Peanut passed into the hands of the EPO.
The most important strategic choice of the EPO administration, as well as one of the most important in the history of the Federation was sealed today with the signing of the market contracts of the “G. Vardinogiannis” athletic center. The agreement was argued by Mr. Makis Gagatsis and Mr. George Vardinogiannis and the standard facilities were owned by the EPO.
The agreement, which had long been completed for a long time, has now become an official character, creating new data on national teams, as the EPO secures for the first time in its history a privately owned training center with self -evident prospects.
This development is expected to contribute to the better organization and planning of national teams, as dependence on external facilities and the need for continuous movement is eliminated. At the same time, operating costs are reduced, while the possibility of permanent installation creates conditions for optimizing the preparation and performance of the teams.
The “House of National Teams”, named George Vardinogiannis, with a long history in its operation as a coaching basis, will undergo upgrading interventions to meet the needs of all representative bands. The acquisition of the property is undoubtedly a historical investment for Greek football, offering a stable functional background.
Following the ratification of the agreement on the purchase of the sports center “George Vardinogiannis”, EPO President Makis Gagatsis said:
“With the signing of the contracts for the sports center“ G. Vardinogiannis ”, the national teams get the house we wanted to offer and deserve to have. Thanks once again Mr. George Vardinogiannis, whose vision is now being transformed into a national heritage.
The acquisition of the sports center for our teams is a timeless legacy and the foundation stone of our strategic orientation, which began a year ago and continues continuously ”
