Work Visit to Kyiv performed by the Deputy Foreign Minister Tasos Hatzivasiliou, where he had bilateral contacts with Ukrainian government ministers, at a time when the truce with Russia is the first priority. The discussions focused on Ukraine rebuilding, the country’s energy needs and bilateral economic cooperation.
Upon arrival in Kyiv, Mr. Hadjivasiliou testified wreath to Monumenthonoring the memory of the militants who lost their lives, defending Ukraine’s independence and territorial integrity.
The Deputy Minister met with the Minister of State By Nemchinovthe Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Olexandr Mischenkothe Deputy Minister responsible for rebuilding Aliona meltedthe Deputy Minister of Economy Andrii Teliupa and the Deputy Minister of Energy Roman Andarak. In his contacts, Mr. Hadjivasiliou focused on the readiness of Greek businesses to participate in the rebuilding of Ukraine and emphasized bilateral cooperation and investment opportunities between the two countries.
He also visited the Embassy of Greece in Kyiv, where, with the ambassador Alexandros Dimitrakopoulosdiscussed with Ukrainian experts and representatives from think tanks.
At the end of the meetings, Mr. Hadjivasiliou said: “I visit Kiev, at a time when the truce is a priority. I discussed with Ukrainian government ministers about rebuilding the country, investment in energy infrastructure and deepening the economic cooperation of Greece and Ukraine.
