A total of 14 doctors, nurses and rescuers, were mobilized to help a 14 -year -old girl facing a serious problem in her respiratory muscles. The minor was transferred from Kefalonia to Karamandan Patras Hospital, thanks to the critical and lifesaving business set up for its interference.
The girl began to feel unwell, resulting in a helicopter to pick her up from Cephalonia and transport her to Araxos. The 14 -year -old was then rushed to Karamandanio Children’s Hospital, where was intubatedbecause of the criticality of her condition.
The state of the 14 -year -old It remains severe and is hospitalized under close medical monitoring.
In order for the girl to take the necessary care, 14 health agents – doctors, nurses and rescuers rushed to the hospital, showing the self -denial of NHS members in such difficult conditions.
During the intubation at Karamandanio Hospital, the Children of Patras collaborated, 2 anesthesiologists, 2 surgery nurses, 1 radiologist, 1 magnet operator who came without having a shift4 pediatricians with a pediatrician director, 1 Intensive Care from Children Rio and 1 Mobile Unit from EKAB.
The whole supervision of the effort was made by Karamandanios pediatrician Athanasios Filias and the Director of the ICU Children of Patras University Hospital, Andreas Eliades.
