In Berlin is the prime minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, that will meet with the new German Chancellor Friedrich Mertz.
The Greek Prime Minister is the first European leader to be accepted by the Chancellor since the election of K. Mertz.
According to government sources, the Greek side focuses on economics, investment, defense, bilateral immigration trade and major issues of the European and international agenda. In this context, transatlantic relations, developments in Ukraine and the Middle East and competitiveness issues are expected to discuss.
The Mitsotakis Visit Program
The prime minister meets at 13:10 noon (Greek time) with Friedrich Mertz, and are expected to have a working lunch shortly afterwards. The two leaders will make statements in the press (14:30 Greek time).
Mr. Mitsotakis will speak as an honorary invitation to his annual conference in the evening Economic Council Germany (20:20), where he will be awarded for government reforms and the recovery of the Greek economy.
