The first definitive table of validated applications of the Program “Change System Heating and Water heater“, which includes more than 100,000 households, which are included in the action, was made public today by the Ministry of Environment and Energy.
As the Ministry of the Interior points out, of the new beneficiaries, over 5,000 come from vulnerable social groups, demonstrating the essential social character of the program.
The program, with a total budget of 647,167,031 euros and an increased subsidy rate for vulnerable households, promotes the energy upgrade of homes and contributes to the reduction of energy costs for households, encouraging the replacement of old heating systems and the installation of new technology solar water heaters.
“This initiative is practical proof of the Ministry of Environment and Energy’s commitment to green development with a social stamp, ensuring access to clean and efficient heating and hot water solutions for everyone — from the urban centers to the most remote areas of the country,” notes the Ministry of the Environment.
The Ministry invites the beneficiaries to be informed about the status of their application through the platform and choose the approved supplier and equipment that meets their needs through the official Supplier and Equipment Registers.
Applicants included in the provisional rejection list have the possibility to lodge an objection within seven calendar days, through the digital platform.
