From today, Wednesday, October 29, 2025is implemented extended hours operating in 33 more Identity Offices throughout the country, as announced by Hellenic Police (ELAS).
According to ELAS, this move is aimed at the important reducing waiting time for the citizens and in its increase availability of appointments for the timely issuance of new identity cards.
This new expansion comes in addition to its corresponding initiative March 2024which had already implemented extended hours in more than 80 police agencies nationwide.
It is reminded that citizens can schedule their appointments exclusively electronicallythrough the platform gov.grchoosing the service, day and time they want.
The 33 Services that extend the hours
The 33 services that are included in the new, extended hours are distributed as follows:
