“I will do everything to get my children back,” the wife of the Parliament police officer tells newsit.gr

“I will do whatever it takes to bring my children back to me,” his wife tells newsit.gr policeman her Parliament who was remanded in custody for the rape of his minor children.

The 35-year-old mother who initially reported the Parliament police officer for domestic violence and then for sexual abuse of her children and herself, is trying, as she reports, to gather her pieces and focus on her children again.

In fact, she has taken a leave of absence from her job, as still according to people from her environment, she is not able to be at her post. “I’m in bad shape, but at least I’m better than when my children and I were experiencing the abuse.

“All I care about is protecting my children. I don’t care if I die or go to jail. I didn’t speak earlier about our abuse because I was afraid,” says the 35-year-old to newsit.gr.

It is recalled that by a prosecutor’s order, custody of the children, who are housed at the Children’s Psychiatric Clinic in Penteli, has been temporarily removed from the parents.

As far as the mother’s complaint against her 14-year-old son is concerned, those close to the 35-year-old say that the 35-year-old took this action at the urging of the competent services.

According to the environment of the policeman’s wife, the 14-year-old boy had taken some things when the rape lawsuit was filed, which he was going to take to his father at the psychiatric hospital.

However, with the complaint filed by the 35-year-old, they did not allow the minor to meet with the father and hand over items to him, which may have concealed evidence from the investigations.

“My principal wishes to regain custody of her children, but first the investigation of the criminal case must be closed. As a second possibility, there is the possibility for her parents to claim custody of the children”, the mother’s lawyer, Yannis Barkagiannis, tells newsit.gr and continues adding:

“The 14-year-old son of the family is not taking his father’s side, he is just not yet ready to talk to the authorities. He remains silent. He does whatever his father tells him for now. The little one has no will. He is the exclusive subordinate of his father.”
