A small aircraft crashed into parked airplane at Montana airport on Monday (11/08/2025), causing great firewithout reporting serious injuries.
The single -engine aircraftwhich carried four people, tried to land around 2 pm to airport of Calispel.
According to its leader police of the city, Jordan Venetsio and the Federal Aviation Administration, the incident evolved without further damage or injuries.
The investigation found that the pilot lost control, causing the aircraft crashing on the landing runway before hitting a parked airplane.
The collision caused a fire, according to city police, which spread to an area with low vegetation before it was restricted and erased.
According to its leader firefighter Calyspel’s Jay Hagen service, an aircraft landed at the end of the runway and collided with another plane.

Passengers managed to leave on their own as soon as the plane stopped, Hagen said. Two of them took slight injuries and provided first aid on the spot at the airport.
