How safe are the CR-V and C4 Picasso?

These are the Honda CR-V and the Citroen C4 Picasso, which received five stars in the crash tests of the independent organization Euro NCAP.

The Japanese SUV did exceptionally well in protecting adult passengers (93%) and fairly well in protecting children (74%) and pedestrians (68%). For safety equipment, it received a percentage of 66%. Citroen’s compact SUV scored 86% in the protection of adult passengers, 88% in that of children and 68% in pedestrian protection. The particularly high percentage of 81% for safety systems is also due to the fact that a speed limiter is included as standard equipment.
