“I had a wonderful afternoon yesterday in Piraeus where I met with friends from the Greek shipping industry at a reception hosted by our excellent partners at the Propeller Club,” said the US Ambassador to Athens. Kimberly Guilfoyle in her post on “X”.
“I am truly honored to be named honorary president! Together we will do great things to strengthen maritime ties and help the maritime communities of our two countries.” he added.

On Thursday night, Ms. Guilfoyle also attended a welcome dinner with the board of directors of the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce.
“One of my top priorities as ambassador is to strengthen trade ties between our two countries. I look forward to securing agreements that will bring greater prosperity and security to the people of Greece and the United States!” she pointed out in another post.
