Herenfen – Olympiacos 1-1: Good look for Piraeus who paid their failure

THE Olympic He presented a positive face in his fourth friendly preparation in the Netherlands, but the failure in the final effort of the players resulted in Herenfen to distract the draw (1-1) against the Piraeus.

From the first minutes, Olympiacos showed his offensive mood. In the 6th, Zelson got his first head after a foul by Rodinei, but sent the ball over the fireplace. Shortly thereafter, Yaremtsuk saw his shot and a corner kick.

The Piraeus scored two goals with the Ukrainian striker (23 ‘and 25′)-the first in close place and the second after Pulmonides’ cross-but in both cases it was offside and 0-0 remained.

Herenfen responded to the pressure of Olympiacos with structured attacks, and in the 27 ‘managed to open the scoring: Broyers came out on the back of the defense and with a cool finish defeated Paschalakis for 1-0.

Olympiacos arrived close to the 30 ‘with Retsos’ head, and lost two great opportunities before the break. In the 37th, Tsikinio failed to make the screening after Yaremtsuk’s header and in the 44 ‘the latter had a double chance in the area, but failed to score.

At the start of the second part, Olympiacos pushed even more intensely. In the 49 ‘Yaremtsuk missed a good position, but a minute later Tsikinio found nets and tied 1-1 with a very beautiful shot.

In the 62 ‘Pulmonides had a very good time, but his shot was strikingly repulsed by Nopert. Herenfen responded in the 67 ‘with Van Overem, who sent the ball out of the advantage.

The “reds” did not stop looking for the overthrow goal. In the 80 ‘Pirola had a good head after Rodinei’s corner, while in the 87’ Olympiacos missed a double huge opportunity, with Noper stopping both Rodinei and Pneumonides through the small area.

The final 1-1 leaves mixed emotions, as the creative game and pressure were there, but the ineffectiveness in the final effort cost the victory.
