With a steady commitment to excellence and knowledge, Helleniq Energy, since 2009, has rewarded excellent students of general and professional high schools, demonstrating its support for the younger generation, with the number of awarded 5,700.
The program, which has been implemented for 17 years, is aimed at high school graduates of 8 municipalities, in the areas where the Group operates. Specifically, the excellents come from the municipalities of Aspropyrgos, Elefsina, Mandra – Idyllia and Megara in the Thriassian Field, the municipalities of Ampelokipi – Menemeni, Delta and Kordeliou – Evosmos in West Thessaloniki and the Municipality of Kozani.
This year’s awards
This year’s awards have turned into real holidays for new graduates and their families.
The events were honored with their presence by the Minister of Education, Religions and Sports Ms. Sofia Zacharakis, the Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance, Mr. George Kotsras, MPs, Church representatives, local authorities and the mayors of the Local Government. On the part of the Helleniq Energy, the CEO Andreas Siamamis, the Chairman of the Board of Directors Mr. Spilios Lebanos, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer Mr. George Alexopoulos and the Group’s executives, as well as the most warm supporters, are attended by the Group.
The iconic message of the events “Get Where You Can’t” – by Nikos Kazantzakis – captures the mentality and vision that the company wants to convey to the younger generation.
The presentation was undertaken by the well-known stand-up comedian Lambros Fissifis, while track and field track and field Stelios Malakopoulos, with his personal example, was a source of inspiration for the award-winning students, reinforcing the message that determination and faith in themselves can be overcome.

Steadily next to the younger generation and the educational community
Helleniq Energy remains firmly on the side of the educational community, having invested more than € 15m in the last decade in actions that have benefited over 300,000 students and students. At the same time, it has offered 350 scholarships for postgraduate studies at more than 50 top universities in Greece and abroad.
This year, Helleniq Energy Alumni Community has also been created, through which hundreds of scholars of the Postgraduate Scholarship Program in Greece and Abroad – from its launch to date – have the opportunity to exchange ideas and knowledge, to evolve, to share their achievements and to share their achievements.
This initiative aims to promote lifelong learning, professional development and social contribution, cultivating a cycle of positive influence focusing on progress, knowledge and sustainability. Also, this year, the company, in collaboration with the Alba Graduate Business School – The American College of Greece, also created the Helleniq Energy Center for Sustainability and Energy, the first center of excellence dedicated to sustainable energy and development.
