Brussels and Beijing are in initial discussions to find a common line on the subject of vehicleaccording to the German newspaper Handelsblatt, which cites sources both from the European Union (EU) as well as from China.
According to European sources, the EU appears even open to the possibility of removal of duties imposed on Chinese electric vehicles in order to boost their imports to the European market.
For their part, Chinese sources refer to a more ambitious plan, which includes common China and EU investments in the coming years, with the aim of co -producing electric vehicles on European territory.
