“As part of the prisoner exchange agreement, the Al Quds Brigades (the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad organization) and the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades (the armed wing of Hamas) will hand over the body of a prisoner at 21:00. The body was found today (07.11.2025) in Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip,” the organization’s brief announcement underlines.
This delivery is part of the plan to exchange living hostages and bodies for Palestinian prisoners or dead, under the ceasefire agreement that came into force on October 10, after almost 2 years of war.
Hamas and its allied groups in the Palestinian enclave are required under the agreement to hand over the bodies of six more hostages.
